Deck washing and oiling
When oiling a deck, watch out for rain, temperature and pollen — the ideal window is usually mid-May to September. The average daily temperature should be at least +10°C.
We clean the surface with professional pressure washing and oil it according to the material. For decks neglected for more than 5 years, the condition of boards and joists should be assessed — if the wood is rotted, replacement is the better option.

How the work is done
The exact scope depends on the property, but the usual order of work is as follows.

We assess the deck boards, fasteners, and old oil layer, and check whether the timber needs repairs before maintenance.

We choose dry weather and a suitable temperature because the deck must dry properly before oiling.

We wash the surface with wood-safe pressure, removing dirt, moss, and loose old finish.

We let the deck dry and oil it with a product suited to the timber and level of use.
- 5
We give guidance on drying time, when the deck can be used again, and when the next maintenance should be planned.
